A compact yet quick little runabout that can be stored out of the way where space is an issue, yet will still get you about your business. Could you need one for your caravan while camping, or perhaps to get you into town on holiday? Is space an issue for you at home yet you still want a decent commuting machine? The 13 inch step through frame folds down to half its size when you need to store it. With the adjustable quick release seat post, you can fit it into a very small space. Even on the smaller 8.8Ah battery option you shouldn’t be too stretched when it comes to range. You can do up to 30 miles per charge on that option, or up to a whopping 50 on the 14Ah battery. You can remove the battery to charge it, or plug the bike in without taking the battery out. Component wise the Basis ebike has 20” CST tyres, adjustable quick release seatpost, full mudguards, front suspension and alloy V Brakes. A side stand is fitted along with a luggage rack with bungee straps. The bike will be delivered 100% fully assembled. You just need to unfold the pedals, frame and handlebar. The Shimano 6 speed gearing system is more than enough for city streets and even the odd country lump when used with the 3 pedal assist functions on the 250 watt power system. Under European regulations speed is limited to 15.5mph, so on faster downhill stretches the speed limiter will cut the motor out.
