A welcomed addition to the Basis bicycle brand. Over the years the Basis brand has expanded, recruiting new models in the attempt to form a well rounded range that appeals to all walks of life. So far, we think we've done pretty well, however, there has certainly been a calling for an affordable folding bicycle that accommodates for a commuter or city go-ers lifestyle. The Compact does exactly that, and very well. Based around a robust Steel folding frame, designed with a OSFA geometry to suit a vast array of riders. Fear you're too tall? The Compact's lengthy seatpost offers plenty of adjustment to adapt to each rider. Utilising the evidently popular & incredibly practical 20" wheel, this charmer performs brilliantly cutting through the city traffic, before neatly folding to stow on the train or within your limited flat space. Although designed for the city, it's 6 speed Shimano gearing system and responsive V-Brakes add a touch of versatility, so no need to shy away from a detour... Finished with twin mudguards to ensure you arrive presentably, the Compact ticks every box of the average city-goer. Condition & Setup Brand new and sealed in a box. This Bike will arrive to you 80% assembled. Fitment of stem handlebars, front wheel & saddle may be required, as well as a general check over and tighten of all fixings on pre-assembled parts (wheel nuts etc). We strongly recommend professional assembly & servicing if you dont feel confident with bicycle mechanics.
