Joseph Kent of Unlimited By JK talks about merriment, food and his favourite films at this time of year.
What do you want for Christmas this year?
I haven’t thought much about what I’d like for Christmas. I don’t necessarily mind whether or not I receive presents, but I do enjoy giving them. That said, if I had to ask for anything, it would be a sumptuous roast dinner. Or three. I probably look forward to the gargantuan amounts of food more than anything else over the festive period.
How do you normally spend Christmas and what are you doing this year?
There are three sides to my family, therefore my Christmases are normally strung out over a week, so as to visit all my relatives. I’ll likely be spending Christmas Day at my grandparents’ house with my dad’s side of the family, which is often a big get-together. Since my siblings and I have all flown the nest, Christmas in my parents’ house isn’t until the 29th, but I’m looking forward to it immensely.
What is the best present you’ve ever received?
The best present I received for Christmas would have been tickets to see Wicked in London. My best friend knew how much I’d love to see it, and I had only the faintest inkling she had actually bought us tickets. By complete coincidence, I had bought tickets for us to see her favourite band play at Brixton Academy.
Describe your ideal Christmas
My ideal Christmas would involve plenty of merriment and delicious food with my family and loved ones. Bonus points for the Doctor Who Christmas Special.
What is your favourite Christmas film?
I’m torn between 101 Dalmatians and Love Actually.
