For a bite-size podcast their daily episodes really pack a news punch. The Intelligence takes a look beyond the top stories of the day for an alternative view of the news that’s hitting the headlines. This is the perfect short, news-based podcast for the small amount of “me-time” you’re getting between working from home and/or keeping an eye on the kids.

 

The funny one

Athletico Mince

Episode length: 30 – 40 mins

Stop what you’re doing and scroll through Bob Mortimer’s “Train Guy” videos on Twitter and Instagram for a taster. Then listen to every single episode of Athletico Mince, Mortimer’s “football” based podcast with co-host Andy Dawson for even more hilarious characters in what is undoubtedly one of the funniest podcasts around.

If you want to branch out exercise-wise and can take some time outside why not give yourself something to aim for with this 9 week training podcast from the NHS. You don’t need any experience to get going and each episode will guide you through a simple programme aimed to help you achieve a goal of running 5k. Just add trainers!
